Situated in the beautiful Cheshire countryside just 15 miles south of Manchester on the outskirts of Macclesfield, Prestbury Golf Club was founded in 1920 and boasts a Harry Colt designed course ranked by Golf World and National Club Golfer as one of the Top 100 in England. We have recently ranked as number four in the region of Cheshire and were described by Rob Smith (Golf Monthly, 2023) as ‘an excellent course with that perfect mix of challenge and physical beauty. The bunker refurb looks terrific and our group loved the whole experience’
The course makes the most of the dramatic changes in elevation afforded by the hilly terrain. The nature of the site coupled with the sandy subsoil means that the course drains exceptionally well.
We take great pride in describing ourselves as a true, traditional private members’ Club. Our focus is on golf and delivering the best possible service to our members.
On Thursday 7th May, our Assistant Professional Matt will be hosting a golf day here at Prestbury to help raise funds towards his upcoming season entry fees and travel.
The event will be a Mixed Quad AM, open to both members and visitors, and promises to be a fantastic day of golf and socialising.
Entry fee: £260 per team

Matt has worked incredibly hard to organise the day and has secured support from some great brands, including Callaway, Castore, Under Armour, and many more - with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.
It’s shaping up to be a brilliant event for a great cause. We’d love to see as many teams as possible taking part to support Matt and enjoy a memorable day at Prestbury.
